reaching EVERYONE IN estes valley

God is clearly at work among us, and the signs of momentum are undeniable. We are welcoming many new people and particularly families into the life of the church, bringing fresh stories, gifts, and a growing hunger for God’s presence in their lives. As our community continues to change and diversify, we are presented with an exciting opportunity to expand our reach, particularly in the areas of Senior Adult, Youth, Family, and Hispanic Ministries.

This vision invites each of us to participate. Together, we aim to be a church that is present in the valley, serving with compassion, building relationships, and pointing others to Jesus through both our words and our actions.

EVERYONE Participating

Over the next two years, we’re inviting EVERYONE into a season of unified vision. In order to reach EVERYONE in Estes Valley, it will take EVERYONE saying yes to their part. It will take a church willing to pray intentionally, love boldly, and live on mission every day. It will mean that each of us identifies our ONE and commits to praying for them and rearranging priorities to share the good news of Jesus.

It will also take a willingness to give sacrificially, trusting God to use our generosity to remove barriers, strengthen ministry, and open doors for greater impact.

And so, we are asking for everyone who is part of SUMMIT Church to participate in this initiative. This vision will not move forward through a few, but through all of us. Every prayer matters. Every act of generosity counts. Every step of obedience plays a role. When everyone participates — bringing their faith, their resources, and their willingness — God will weave our individual commitments into a powerful collective witness, allowing the hope of Christ to reach every corner of Estes Valley.

EVERYONE has ONE

We are inviting everyone to identify and have a “ONE ” — a person God has placed in your life whom you will intentionally pray for and lovingly pursue with the good news of Jesus. We want everyone to make a relational investment to building a friendship with a local person who has not encountered the life-changing love of Jesus.

This may mean reorganizing your schedules, your priorities, and possibly even your comforts for the sake of your ONE. Ultimately, we should all have more than one person we are doing this with, but we should all have at least one person who we genuinely love and are helping take steps toward Jesus.

your ONE

Take time to prayerfully consider who God is asking you to relationally commit to as your ONE. This person, might be someone you already spend time with. Or they may already be on your prayer list. Perhaps God is revealing someone to you at this very moment, someone who is not currently in a personal relationship with Jesus.

Who has God placed in your life, that you are ready to say is your ONE?

Eliminating Financial Debt

The purchase and remodeling of our building have provided a permanent home for worship and ministry, but it also carries a collective debt as of January 2026 of $1,022,882 that limits our flexibility to invest fully in our community.

Each dollar directed toward debt reduction is a dollar not yet available for discipleship, ministry expansion, and community impact. Every dollar that we pay in interest is a dollar that could be going towards funding more ministry opportunities that are needed in our community. Addressing our debt is essential for positioning our church to respond faithfully and effectively to the opportunities God places before us.

Eliminating our building and construction debt will free up critical ministry dollars, allowing us to invest more fully in the people God has entrusted to us. This step is not simply about finances; it is about aligning our resources with our mission of transforming Estes Valley through the hope of Christ.

FAQs

Why is the initiative called "EVERYONE"

Our leadership team is praying for 100% participation from EVERYONE who calls SUMMIT Church home. We want to reach EVERYONE in the Estes Valley with the HOPE of Christ. And to do this, we believe God is asking EVERYONE to have a “ONE.“ So, with such a focus on “everyone” we thought it was an appropriate title for the vision initiative.

What was the process to start the EVERYONE Initiative?

Over the past year, our Pastor, Staff, and Board have prayerfully sought God’s direction for our church. We believe God is moving at SUMMIT, and we want to be ready for what He is doing. With input from trusted outside voices, we’ve identified key steps to reach more people for Jesus, and we sense God calling us to bold faith and action.

What is holding us back from accomplishing all God has for us?

One of the clearest things holding us back right now is debt. While it allowed us to step into the building God provided, it also limits our flexibility and ties up resources that could otherwise fuel ministry. Every dollar directed toward interest is a dollar not invested in reaching people, discipling families, and serving our community.

Is the EVERYONE Initiative just a front to raise money?

While there is a financial piece, this initiative is about far more than money. EVERYONE is a call to live on mission. We are asking EVERYONE at SUMMIT to identify one person who doesn’t yet know Jesus, pray for them, and invest in their life. At the same time, reducing debt will free up resources for ministry and help us better serve the people God has entrusted to us. Both commitments (relational & financial) require sacrifice and trust.

What is the building + construction debt that SUMMIT Church is liable for?

As of January 2026, the total debt related to our building is $1,022,882. This includes $761,482 remaining from the purchase of the building and $261,400 from the construction loan. These investments have given us a permanent home for ministry and positioned us for long-term impact.

Last Fiscal Year we spent over $71,000 in interest and principal with an interest rate of 7.25%. This means only a quarter of our debt payments were applied against the loan. These interest payments represent resources that could otherwise be used to expand our reach throughout the Estes Valley.

What will SUMMIT do when we pay off our debt?

As we pay off our debt and our community continues to change and diversify, we will discern the exciting opportunities God is placing before us to expand our reach, particularly in the areas of Hispanic, Senior Adult, Youth and Family Ministries.

What if we don’t reach our financial goal?

We will always celebrate obedience over outcomes, because success in this initiative is measured by faithfulness. With two financial goals before us, first retiring the smaller construction loan and then eliminating our larger building loan, every step we take increases our capacity for ministry, even if the final number does not eliminate all our debt.

So what exactly are you asking me to do?

We are asking you to prayerfully consider making two commitments. The first is a relational commitment to be praying for and developing a relationship with at least one (local) person in your life who is not currently in a relationship with Jesus. The second is a sacrificial financial commitment above and beyond your regular giving. We are not asking for equal gifts from all in our SUMMIT family, but rather equal sacrifice. Our leadership team is praying for 100% participation from EVERYONE.
